Deep dry needling A very effective treatment which de-activates trigger points located in the muscle and tendons in the body. Useful for many complaints such as shin splints, heel pain, arch pain, knee pain due to injury and arthritis, referred pain, stubborn non responsive problems and also to help adjust to foot orthoses. Also can help with clawing of toes and bunions. We use an acupunture needle however this is not an acupunture treatment. Some soreness can be felt for 1-2 days afterward and then the problem usually resolves. The treatment is usually repeated once a week (twice at the most) for a few weeks. Other causitive factores need to be addressed at the same time to prevent relapse.
